Team Melisa Urrutia

Melisa Urrutia brings over 18 years of expertise in behavioral health administration and information systems to Meridian. Since joining the organization in 2005, she has advanced through a series of leadership roles—including Billing Contracts Manager, EMR Director, and VP of Health Information Services—driving meaningful change and innovation.

Since starting as CIO, Melisa has led the transformation of Meridian’s technology infrastructure, guiding her team through major IT implementations such as network restructuring and the adoption of cloud-based systems, as well as the rollout of advanced electronic health records and telehealth solutions. Her leadership has streamlined workflows and strengthened both clinical and operational excellence.

Melisa works closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to bridge the gap between technology and real-world care. Her commitment to leveraging technology for better outcomes has resulted in impactful solutions that empower staff and improve the experience for clients across Meridian.
