Team Ashley Brooks

Chief Operating Officer

Ashley joined Meridian in 2021 as the Vice President of Acute Care Services. She has more than fifteen years of experience in the behavioral health field with over a decade of that in leadership roles. Ashley earned a BS in Psychology from Florida State University and while working as a case manager, attended graduate school in order to expand her skills in the field.

Following the completion of her MA in Mental Health Counseling, Ashley worked toward licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC). It was soon after obtaining her LMHC, Ashley’s true calling became an opportunity when she was promoted to an Associate Director of Clinical Services role, managing counseling and case management services. She has worked in various leadership roles in Florida and Arizona, holding licensure in both states. She has experience overseeing behavioral health outpatient services, MAT clinics, residential facilities, housing, acute care services, and integrated healthcare.

During her time at Meridian, Ashley has continued to expand her leadership skills, earning the Leadership Award in 2022. She was promoted to the executive management team as Senior Vice President of Medical Services in 2022 where she oversaw outpatient psychiatric, primary care and MAT services. In 2024, Ashley became Chief Operating Officer, with a focus on streamlining overall operations of the agency, in addition to facilities, performance and risk management, marketing, outreach and prevention.
