Insurance and Billing
Meridian is committed to making treatment as affordable as possible.
Payment Options
We accept payment for services from a variety of sources, including directly through this website, here. Indigent care is provided through contracts with Lutheran Social Services (through the Florida Department of Children and Families) and County Commission contracts. We also accept payment from client fees based on a sliding scale, commercial insurance, contracts with other entities, disability, Medicare, and Medicaid (through its various managed care plans and Medipass).
Eligibility requirements for assistance programs can be reviewed with Financial Counselors when you call or come in for services, and payment plans are available. Meridian provides a limited amount of uncompensated care to those without ability to pay after contracts for indigent care have been expended.
Health Insurance
You and your referral source are responsible for obtaining the required payor authorization(s) for your visit(s). Your insurance company will determine how much your co-pay is, based on your insurance plan. As a courtesy, our staff will do our best to estimate your financial responsibility at the time of service.
Co-pays and deductible balances are due and payable at the time services are rendered. Any previous balance on your account is also expected to be paid at the time services are rendered unless you have entered into a documented payment plan agreement with a Financial Counselor or with our Fiscal Department. Unpaid balances will be referred to collection.
